Android 15 is finally here.
After months of waiting, the launch of the Pixel 9 series and several beta updates, Android 15 is now available on Pixel devices.
The update will only come to Pixel 6 devices and newer.
New features include a Theft Detection Lock, which uses AI to help keep data safe if your phone senses that someone has snatched it and is trying to run, bike, or drive away.
Android 15 now offers ‘Private Space,’ which allows you to set up and download a whole set of apps, put them in the Private Space, and password-protect them. This is great if you have a naughty Twitter account you want to hide or if you want to hide your banking apps.
Android 15 is giving users of foldable and tablet devices the option to quickly pin and unpin their taskbar and a more customizable layout.
The latest version of Android has a lot more to offer; to try it out, go to Settings > System > Software Updates > System Update > Check for Updates.
