Samsung confirmed that we’ll have to wait until the “first half of the year” to witness the Galaxy S III… until then we can expect the new “exciting new mobile products” in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress next month. However, a new device has popped up in the An3DBenchXL benchmark database named the “Galaxy S 2+”. The specs appear to be a bit of a bump up from the GS II as it’s reported to have a 1.5GHz processor, compared to the GS II’s 1.2GHz. In addition, the only other known details are that the Galaxy S II+ runs Android OS 2.3.4 Gingerbread and a 800 x 480 WVGA display. No word on when/if/where this device will hit the market…
