RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is coming to Canada – it’s just a matter of how many carriers will have it available. Rogers is currently the only one who has 100% confirmed they’ll be launching the PlayBook. WIND stated a few months back they are working on getting it, Mobilicity said they want it and TELUS’ CEO said he’s “bullish on the PlayBook“. This really only leaves Bell.
Bell owns 100% of the retail chain The Source and they only advertise Bell, Virgin and Solo devices in their flyers. Taking a look at the most recent flyer states “Coming Soon – the Blackberry PlayBook tablet”… so you can confidently say this will make its way to Bell – it’s just a matter of when and how much.
