According to a fresh post on HowardForums, PC Mobile is set to launch the LG 160 ($59 alone, or with a bundle for that includes a Bluetooth headset and car charger for $89). The Motorola KRZR K1m will only be avaialble as a bundle that includes a Bluetooth headset and car charger for $149. Both could be available August 7th.
CRTC issued its first “annual report on the communications industry”. Specifically for the wireless sector:
- The wireless market was the largest sector of the telecommunications industry with revenues of $14.4 billion, an increase of 14.4% from $12.6 billion in 2006. Overall, wireless revenues accounted for 38% of
all telecommunications revenues and grew at an annual rate of 16.2% between 2003 and 2007.
- There were 20.3 million wireless subscribers in 2007, an increase of 8.2% over the previous year.
- Prices for telecommunications services in Canada are in line with those in other countries (including the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Australia)
Samsung Canada released a very cool concept to promote the upcoming August 8th launch of the Instinct. The YouTube video series is kinda “Choose your own Adventure” and allows you to make decisions at the end of each video for the dude. There are 9 videos in total.
