This is one of our first accessories that we are reviewing this holiday season – mainly because of all the laws being proposed or passed that will make it mandatory to wear a wireless headset while driving.
The Sony Ericsson HBH-PV 703 is an entry level Bluetooth headset. It can do all you need it to do at a good price, around $60 Canadian. It easily wraps around your ear with a weight of 14 grams with overall dimensions of 2.4 inches x 0.7 inches and truly simple to connect to your mobile phone.
If you’re looking for style… there are other headsets you might want to consider before this as it’s available in Grey of Black. However, this has all the capabilities you need to be safe: call pick up, hang up, avoid and redial, indicator of when the battery needs charging (this has talk time of 10 hours, standby time of 350 hours, takes about 2 hours to full charge the battery).
Below is a quick overview of the actual headset, we took this for a test drive and found the sound quality and reception to be good and reliable with no interference:
