i hope there will be people who still want this, probably the wait might have led people to other devices.

with the magic and Dream coming out, plus the Nokia 5800 the X1 could be put in the back seat of contenders when choosing a new phone. I would go for an Android if I had a choice

Completly agree Sony was ahead when this came out but now, no one cares and Windows Mobiles reputation is ruined. They should recall all those devices and put Android on them.

Small Screen
Small keyboard

The way Rogers works, the X2 will come years after it is released and old news.

I have an unlocked European X1 and it is a great phone all round. HTC did well for SonyEricsson who in turn did well by having HTC put in a 3.5 headphone jack. Unfortunately, it does not have the 3G 850 band used by Rogers.

how is the X1 and those "panels"? Does it even come close to competing with the Storm, iPhone or the Magic/Dream?

More expensive than the iPhone and Android? Actually you can get a Dream and a Magic for one X1!

I still don't know why Rogers is bent on releasing this dinosaur... I'd drop it, ship em back, and wait for the X2.
