I'm actually torn a bit. If I had to choose one or the other.

I like the Magic for the style, but the design of the Dream kinda bothers me. Not to sure what's up with the lift at the bottom, but you are right about the keyboard. It is a must for me.

So, if I was forced I would take the Dream

I've had the iPhone and playing games on it was so annoying. Plus im a huge fan of emulators for nes, snes, gen and gba. Those suck on iPhone and will suck on the G2/Magic.

Magic because of the looks, not a fan of how the G1 was designed.

I actually like the pricing for these, except that you have to sign for 3 years. I would get the Magic.

those 1-year and 2-year plans are crazy and it's not worth 600 bucks to me to buy it with no contract. The 3 yr price is better than I thought and at that price I think they will actually sell lots

in the pic, what is the difference between the two 3-year plans? It looks like the 148 is an instore offer only

149.99 / 3 years contract with $45 voice/data plan
$399.99 / 3 years contract with $45 voice/data plan

Have you played around with the Magic yet (from the states?), probably worth doing before you make a big regret. The iPhone is a safe and worthwhile choice to bet against
