Dr. Dre Earbuds

Are they compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S series? Otherwise, anyone have any good alternatives?

They should be compatible with any device that plays music. Are you looking for in ear or over the ear headphones? I have the dr. dre in ear headphones and I find that while the sound quality is good they won't stay in my ears when walking which means i hardly ever use them and they are overly priced. I do highly recommend the Bose IE2 in ear headphones if your looking for in ear headphones. I bought mine for $120 and I find the sound quality to be a lot better then the dr. dre beats in ears and the IE2 actually stay in my ears when walking or even running.

The Bose IE2's often go on sale at FutureShop/BestBuy for $99.99. Just follow their pricing for a while. They're hands down the best sounding earbuds and comfortable earbuds I've ever used. They belong to my fiance.

I personally have a pair of noise cancelling Sennheiser ear buds. They work very well at blocking background noise and sound great, but they also sometimes pop out and aren't as comfortable as the Bose earbuds.
