the only way I can see this happening is if you activate it and then will get charged a newly created "iPhone No-Contract Administration Fee"

Lol! What are you talking about ppl?! iPhones are already selling at a much lower price than this. Of course, not in an Apple Store™, but you'd still get a receipt, and what's even better it's gonna be unlocked. Is this the same phone we are talking about, or am I just going in the wrong direction (me not being a big Apple fan)?

I think the closest we will see with a discount is what Fido is doing with the "refreshed iPhones"
