I've got a problem. I'm really sorry if someone have already discussed that problem before.
I upgraded to leopard last night and had to format my hard drive. I lost all my contacts on my mac, but have them on the iPhone. How can I get the iPhone to transfer them to my Mac?
Hope to get answers as soon as possible.

When you plug your iPhone into iTunes go to the info tab and then make sure you have sync contacts checked and then from the drop down box select one of the programs listed and then click apply. You should then be able to open the program you selected in the drop down box and your contacts should be there.

OSX and the iPhone have sync services with google you could simply setup syncing your contacts with gmail.

See this video: http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

Where where ALL your contacts sourced from?
- Lets start there.
- if from OSX then just follow the first post about iTunes Info tab & sync.
- if Source is from Google, open up Contacts preferences and enable Google Sync from there OR in MAIL preferences.

why are ppl suggesting Google or other 3rd party sources without exploring what is inherently possible in OSX first?
