I am getting a Milestone thanks to the 72 hour sale on Telus. But I was wondering if Froyo is available for the Milestone yet? If the official Froyo update is not available yet, I am assuming some sort of custom ROM can be installed. I am particularly interested in Flash support and Wifi hotspot functionality. Anyone have success on these two?

Currently, the Motorola Milestone is SUPPOSED to get 2.2 in Q1 2011. If that actually holds out, then it should be updated to Froyo within a month or so.
I know that there are some stable builds of Gingerbread that you can run on a Milestone, but I have no intention on rooting my phone, so I am not one to ask about that.
Here's the URL for the Motorola Software Updates, if something changes, it'll be posted there: https://supportforums.motorola.com/community/manager/softwareupgrades

I'm finally updated to froyo on my milestone. Did it on my pc from the motorola website. Then proceeded to root it and overclocked it to 1.2 ghz, running great! If anyone wants any help with any of that, I did it with ease. Let me know.
