New LG Shine Plus Questions

Hi guys, I just renewed my contract and got the Shine Plus for my new phone. On my new contract, I only have 100 MB for data, and I can probably stay within that (for now;)).

Is it possible to set up my phone so it asks to go online using 3G, but it can do whateveer it wants when it's on WiFi?

I have the applications not allowed to download in the background, and I have it set up so it asks to use the mobile network. Is there anything else I need to set up?

I would just keep mobile data disabled all the time unless you want to use it. that's the only real safe way to make sure and stay under 100mb. It's only 2 buttons to turn it back on or one if you use a widget.

Hey guys, been mucking around with the new phone for a bit. Is there any way to move apps to the SD card? I thought there were apps to do this, but I can't find them in the market.

You'll have to wait for an upgrade to 2.2 for apps2SD.

I don't suppose there's any word on when 2.2 is coming for the shine plus?

It was originally supposed to be released this quarter, but I read somewhere that they may be skipping 2.2 and going straight to 2.3 but a bit later. Not sure if that is even reliable, but then again no upgrade is available yet so it may be true.

Well I hope we get 2.2 because app 2 sd would be a huge help to me and I may go nuts waiting for2.3.
