Raises a good point, where is Quebec going to fit it. I know Videotron holds the licenses to the same spectrum as Globalive in Quebec. Anyone else in Le Belle Province hear of how this might work out?

Smart idea, so now Videotron vs. Globalive, who will win. In years to past you never know they might buy one another out. and Videotron has internet and home phone too, its lieke the Quebec roger.

So far the rates for Videotron wireless are not very good and their selection of handsets need to expand also. I figure that is Globalive is going to be the one to bring prices down for wireless service, will it affect the market in Quebec?

I think that Globalive is going to do well.
They do have the upper hand on Videotron; They are going to be a national brand.
I don't know if anyone has read some of their other press releases, but the rate plan they spoke about in the artical about is set to rival that of the City Fido plan.
I know i work for TELUS and all, but if they have some even half decent phones at launch and a plan like that, i will drop my TELUS phone and move.
I am still kicking myself for getting rid of my city fido plan!!!!
