I know wind is expanding coverage, but what about all the dead spots with in the area that is already covered. I have experienced so many dead spots in Calgary within the coverage area. Its hit or miss every time I pull out my phone in a mall or any other area. These are not difficult spots for the big 3, so I know it's very possible to get full bars in these areas. I was on Telus and Fido before Wind. So I know Wind is planning to expand their coverage in terms of area, but what about all the dead spots? Are they planning on strengthening the signal in the area that is already covered to fix all the dead spots out there? I'm on the $40 Holiday plan, so Im lovin it. But I really hope the dead spots are covered.

People might hate me for saying this but: To be expected ?? This is coverage after one year of building. And Cantel/At&T/ Rogers back in the early 90's was just as bad. For example:On my Nokia old phone I couldn't make a call by the parts of the downtown C-train line.

If I remember correctly windmobile does not share any cell towers with the big three so they have to build as they go. So dead spots are going to be expected. Anyone who asked me about coverage I inform them that this will happen.

Right now I am experiencing problems when I am in Malls ie: Chinook Mall just after New Years ,no getting any signal at The Bay store DT, & all of Scotia Centre.

I am very lucky because I do not live in a high rise and I am able to live with the coverage.

the big three have repeaters/cell sites in the malls, once mall management lets Wind/Mobi install repeaters and antannae, then signal will get better
