My wife and I are looking to get 2 IP4 with Virgin on the $55 student plan... I would like to know where would be the best place to go get set up... Best service, helpful, honest etc.

Went to Bestbuy and they wouldn't go to bat for us when I asked them to waive the activation fee and try to get free Caller ID included with the plans. We were told that it was up to us to deal with the carrier directly AFTER signing the 3 year contracts. This does not make sense to me. They also initially denied that Virgin even have this plan, and told us it was only offered through bell and telus. After a little insistence on our part and a visit to Virgin's website, they capitulated but then told us they had no stock of the IP4 with Virgin. They seemed less than honest, and we backed out....

Any advice? We live in Mississauga, ON but don't mind traveling a while to get better service. Are the Virgin stores/kiosks any better?

Thanks!

Generally it's a good idea to deal with corporate owned stores (virgin kiosks/stores).

The reason being that they don't just care about the activation, they're generally very willing to help out and answer questions and just spend the time with you. I've met one bad virgin rep, and she's no longer with the company.
