It is rumored that in h2 the nokia 5800 may potentially reach fido after a rogers launch but I doubt it.

You probably won't be seeing any more high-end phones on Fido. They no longer fit the positioning of the brand. I think the highest end phone we may see on Fido (besides the iPhone) would be the BB 8900... if we even land that one.

I would actually like to see the Nokia N95 8GB go to Fido...

There will probably be some good phones coming to fido, but its now a discount brand, so expect some lower end solid phones, and no doubt a focus on uma (fido uno)

well hopefully we can expect some nice low end devices since we all know nothing big is going to be expected in Fido after the rumoured BB Curve 8900. But still they have the UNO service but will it be useful because most people block their wireless access. So i feel if they really want to bring more UNO phones into their brand get some wifi towers out their.

...but the whole idea of FIDO UNO is that you have unlimited calling in your home, if they randomly built wifi towers that wouldn't really make any sense. I also don't understand what you mean by blocked wireless service? Do you mean wifi? As in people intentionally disabling their wifi, because that is just kind of ridiculous.

UNO is designed for use at home, or your office, or Starbucks, or any other place with an open Wi-Fi network. Fido is not about to start equipping any of their cellular towers with Wi-Fi.There is a 4G wireless standard known as Wi-Max, but neither Fido nor any other Canadian carrier is likely to use it.
