Well for one i would like to see more selection on Virgin. I wouldn't mind a LG Voyager or even a Dare. But Virgin should look towards Nokia since they will be getting Blackberry Connect back. They could pick up some nice qwerty devices and use the bb plans.

People drop your thoughts on what you want or think will be coming to Virgin Mobile.

unfortunately nokia will most likely not be coming back to virgin as they have canned their CDMA production leaving only GSM. as virgin is on CDMA that means no more nokia.

since they will be getting Blackberry Connect back
virgin never had BB connect.

opps your correct, what i meant was that nokia will be adding the blackberry service back on to their devices so virgin should take the nokias as well as get blackberry connect onto their services to use the new nokias. sorry worded wrong.

perhaps a LG Voyager for Virgin? This would make sense for them I think...

Well virgin gets all their phones from bell so I doubt that they will get the dare, maybe koodo will get it since they are owned by telus. Maybe the insinct? *crosses fingers for the storm D:* Maybe they'll get the double flip or the vantage.

Well, Virgin works on Bell's network, but can use any cdma phones. Don't get your hopes up for amazing new phones, but virgin can definitely get some non-Bell devices.

There is a training session currently going on for all virgin employees to prepare new phones. I don't have any info on what new handsets will be launched other than an apparent emphasis on qwerty keypads on regular phones (a la Rumour) touch screens (maybe the instinct, or storm - cross your fingers), and probably a windows mobile device.

There should be some cool new phones launched in a month or so, so be on the lookout, but keep in mind virgin is a discount brand, so don't expect anything too amazing.

Even if blackberry service is running on nokia handsets (I'm not even sure if I know what that means) nokia has stopped producing cdma phones, and so virgin's network (bell's network) isn't compatible with any new nokia handets. You'll have to wait until bell and telus (with virgin, koodo and solo along with them) make the move to gsm, which won't be happening till 2010, before the olympics apparently.

Great news everyone! I heard on HowardForums that Virgin Mobile Canada is getting 5 new phones this year!
It will be announced in a few weeks.
