That to me looks like a serious contender to the iPhone!
Check it out: http://www.htc.com/europe/product/touchhd/overview.html

Serious device the HTC HD is but I just don't want the same experience I have had with the HTC n' WinMo OS love HTC lay out of touch flow but sometimes never picks what I want. Its got mind of its own hoping they fixed it with the HD and I would expect a device like this to hit Canada.

I agree, i changed the OS on my HTC Diamond...I couldn't handle the TouchFLO 3D. I did love the phone though.
Now i am a hardcore BB user. Storm is awesome!!!!

I have no problems with TF3D I guess it really is to each his own ;) and the WinMo community is just awesome to find great tweaks and apps.

I wouldn't count on seeing the Touch HD reach Canada carrier subsidized.

When comparing the HTC Touch HD, along with any other blackberry or smartphone on the market to the iphone never forget the iphone is famous and doing so well for a few really good reasons:
-Strong device with 3G, Wifi, HTML browsing, and just about anything you could hope for from a smartphone
-Amazing app store that has no solid contestants as of yet
-iTunes and iPod, perhaps the most important, consumers are very familiar with the ipod and using itunes, and so when your phone fits in and works really well with everything you already have set up, its simple
So HTC could make the most amazing device out there, but the iphone has broken into mainstream culture and society and therefore will always come out on top. Business users are different, but lets be honest, the new smartphone market isn't anywhere near the business community.

My geuss is that Telus and Bell will not carry the Touch Pro since they just released the Diamond on their networks. Now this only leaves Rogers and since Rogers was supposed to release the HTC TYTN II last February but didnt, I am hoping they will be releasing the Touch Pro in Canada. The big question would be when?

You could buy a unlocked touch HD. You get 3G functionality though. Or you could import the HTC HD2
