Is anyone else using UMA on their Rogers BB?

Have you ever wondered why voice minutes you use with Wi-Fi calling are not deducted from the voice minute allocation in your voice plan BUT TEXT MESSAGES SENT ARE?

It seems unfair, when I am at home using UMA and WiFi and my cellular radio is turned off, I still have to pay for text messages sent even though they go through my router and internet connection.

I thought UMA was no longer free since there is a paid plan for it now. I tried UMA once when it was free for Blackberry users and it was confusing to get it working and connecting at that time. I tried to get it working on my Torch recently and soon discovered that it is no longer free and that I would have to get a UMA plan to activate the feature. Not worth it IMO.
