For those who purchased an Instinct in 2008 and are experiencing issues with content apps like weather, news or sports since Jan 1 2009; Samsung has a direct download fix that updates the content applications. I am not sure why 2009 made a difference as I am unable to locate the source of the issue but here is the link; http://pxme.us/bm2/
You will need web access (unlimited preferably or you will may be billed for data transfer rates) with your Instinct to download the fix. There is no option to download to a desktop and load via USB cable.
Instincts purchased after Jan 1st 2009 are not encountering this issue that I am aware of. Currently this issue is with NorthernTel Mobility (Bell Aliant) and may not have any reference to Bell Mobility.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on Tuesday expressed his commitment to world peace and emphasized the importance of young people as an engine for achieving it on the occasion of the International Day of Peace.
"Peace is precious. It must be nurtured, maintained, defended," Ban said in a statement released here Tuesday to mark the International Day.
The International Day of Peace has been celebrated annually since 1981. Each year, the ringing of a Peace Bell at the UN Headquarters in New York kicks off a celebration that continues all around the world with parades, concerts,Tiffany (http://www.amostore.com), and other events to celebrate aspirations for peace.
Observance of International Peace Day is usually Sept. 21, but the celebration began on Sept. 17 this year because of the UN Summit on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), is currently occupying the time and energy of many UN officials.
Ban dedicated this International Day of Peace to youth all over the globe, asking them to join in the effort for peace.
"You are impatient," he said in his statement, addressing young people. "You see what we, your elders, allow to persist, year after year: poverty and hunger; injustice and impunity; environmental degradation."
Focus on youth of the day of peace is particularly timely, as the UN recently inaugurated the International Year of Youth.
Ban also said in his statement that youth can play a significant role in making headway towards the MDGs, a set of eight international development objectives due to be completed by 2015.
"With just five years remaining to achieve the MDGs, I ask all, young and old, to help us find global solutions to these global problems,Evening dresses (http://www.weddingdresses-love.com)," he said. "Share your plans and ideas, act with creativity and p***ion. Help us fight for peace and prosperity for all."
