Thats actually a better improvement on the $25 plan, which might help with the target market that they are trying to acquire. Now they need to bring a few more features and couple more nice devices.

no that is not an improvement on the $25 plan. before the plan included unlimited text-now its only 1000 (still plenty).
also comparing to Koodo, Fido, and Solo
$25 will get you billing by the second, unlimited evening and weekends, and unlimited text.

I was wrong, a lot wrong lol, they should give the unlimited text atleast the 1000 would run people down who don't have lots of mins and use the text to talk.

I thought the $25 dollar unlimited text was amazing, I'm glad I still have it... but now VM Can't hold a candle to Fido/Solo/Koodo with the exception of slightly better phones.
