Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant Camera Feedback?

Hi there, found this place while looking for info on some possible new phones. I was just wondering if anyone can give me some feed back in how the pics/vids look on the Vibrant considering it doesn't have a flash? This is my main sticking point for this phone... I tend to take a fair number of pics right now that need (or at the least benefit from) the flash.

I'm currently with Bell and not interested in switching to another carrier.

Thanks for any input and /or opinions you may have!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. That lack of flash is a bummer. However, I've read on an android forum that the GS takes decent low light pix. The thread was basically comparing the HTC Desire camera with the GS and sounds like the GS did quite well considering the no flash.

Not sure if I'm allowed to link to the other forum/thread here?

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks; I'm leaning towards the GS anyway...

I know a lot of the info I've seen has gone one of two ways... 1) they think flashes are usless "gimmicks" (a belief I do not hold... then again I take pics in some of my low light aquariums and in less than ideal light conditions, normally rather close up) or 2) they seem to think everyone should get over it because the rest of the phone is so awesome lol ;). Very few of the reviews seem to think this is a real issue so finding info seems to be a little tough lol.

I did read something else I think I need a little clarification on though... Best Buy's spec's tab on the Vibrant says that Mobile Email is supported but Push Email is "Not applicable"... OK... what's the difference? Bell's specs say POP3 and ActiveSync. I have shaw, live and blackberry emails attached to my current Blackberry Curve... can I also do that with the Vibrant? Specifically the shaw account, it's my primary email.

You do know that the Samsung Fascinate (which is very similar to the Vibrant & Captivate) DOES have a camera flash? Don't think it's in Canada yet though (please enlighten me if I'm wrong)...

IDK if the Facinate is in Canada either but I do know Bell doesn't carry it. I'm planning to use an upgrade credit so I'm kinda stuck with what they carry. Right now it's between the Vibrant and the Blackberry Torch (though looking at the prelimenary reviews for the torch and the specs, I may be better off getting a 3G curve or Bold 9700 lol)

Hmm,
Guess my post with the link was not approved. If you Google 'desire vs. galaxy s', the forum link is one of the first that pops up. There's a couple brief mentions about the flash.
