I just wanted to start the battle arena off with something that we all have seen. Both these blackberry's have been compared to the limit but i feel here at mobilesyrup forum we users should give our honest opinion on the devices. I would like any users of these devices to state what they love about their device (i.e the bold or the cureve 8900).

Bold - 3G. That was the deciding factor for me. No way I was going to use a massive data plan with a 2G phone. Wouldn't be doing it justice LOL

i think the is the best matchup to start with. Im going to say bold, but not by much. So the curve looks great it is a beautiful device, and the bold not so much. The processor on the curve is faster. The screen is better. But no 3G, wifi, but thats not everywhere. The bold has a bigger screen, and 3G. The bold also seems "snappier". So there Bold wins by a hair

Well I would have to go with the Curve, previously I carried the Bold but some odd reason I'd be switching from 3G connection EDGE. That really to me in my experience isn't 3G service , I hardly get it. Also the screen resolution on the curve 8900 is a bit better than the Bold. Big plus in my books for the Curve 8900 is UMA service where I save tons on my bill. 3G browsering experience is slower compared to the wifi browsering experience.

I'm in a non 3g area so it's a no brainer for me, also I'm on wifi whenever I'm browsing on my Curve so I got the best phone I can get as far as I'm concerned.

I think even with 3G service around for the time being i have been always around wifi so for me also the Curve is my choice. Also UMA is a bonus on my phone bill.
