MWC and Palm what to expect?

If many of you haven't heard Palm seems to be brewing up something big for MWC next month. Have any ideas any one or even any rumours you would liek to share throw them here.

My opinion is that i believe that they might announce a GSM version of the device which would be amazing.

I agree i think a GSM pre will be announced BUT I hope they don't make it with euro only bands!

I want to see a north american version ASAP! Especially if it is unlock/unbranded!

i want them to announce carriers besides sprint, and hopefully in canada

I'm not sure that's the best marketing strategy for that particular device. Especially since we are in a recession and people psychologically don't really like the idea of shelling out $600+ (just an assumption of Pre pricing) for a brand new phone when they can renew or sign a contract and get it subsidized. It makes the carriers happy, and allows Palm to penetrate a larger market by making the phone's price-point more attractive.

I doubt they'll announce anything as of yet. The CDMA Pre is simply testing the waters. I mean, it'd be foolish to release a GSM version of the Pre now anyways. Most smartphone users have already locked into an agreement for 2 or 3 years (iPhone, Bold, Storm, 8900, etc., whatever they chose) so they won't have large penetration now anyways.
