HTC Desire!!
I don't like Apple's lock down on the iPhone. I know it can be jailbroken, but Apple seems to slam that door shut with every OS update. Functionally the HTC Desire does everything the iPhone and you can install custom hybrid OSs and skins without problems.

I'm on the verge of getting an iphone b/c I don't really see what the big "LOCK DOWN" is with iOS anymore. Jailbreaking doesn't offer that much extra functionality (multitasking, customization,..etc) are all part of the OS now.
What SPECIFIC features/functions do you want to gain by jailbreaking the iphone?

My dad just gave me the htc desire cell. It looks very nice and beautiful.It is very durable with a long battery backup and i will soon buy skin for it.
