Hi everyone, We live in Manitoba and want to get an iPhone but want to find the best way to go about it. Buy a unlocked version? or get a contract version? What plan is the cheapest? And how good is the 3g service through out Manitoba?

Thanks

Find out which ever carrier has the best service there. Plus, contract is the cheapest way to go about it. A few perks for people that sign 3 year. So try it out sorry I couldn't help about the reception/service there.

I said Manitoba. We do not have Telus 3g service here this is the exact reason I asked this question.

I truly don't have any idea about Manitoba, but my best bet is to go with Rogers. They have the best service Nationwide so far, TELUS is catching up though. Get Rogers, iPhone with a 3 year, cheapest way.

One problem though, iPhone (especially on Rogers) is sold out Coast to Coast. So good luck man :D

My suggestion is to buy one and then jailbreak it by yourself.

It's easy!

For me, I prefer "unlock version".

But I think it's on personal decision. Just do what you like.

Plans canrt be determined by best, its always best for you! I would start with looking around at the feedback positive and negative online and in the various social media! Then pick a couple and go through the plans on their websites! Also don't be afraid to contact the social media team, sometimes you can get incentives if you tell them your looking around!

I would think Rogers would be best especially if you can get their 3G service where your located.

:D

Please, Rogers is worthless in the maritimes. You can leave the city with a Rogers phone, you will loose your signal. If you don't travel, then it's not an issue, but most people want to travel and that's the point of having a cell phone, right ?

I think first you should plan your budget because iPhones are expensive

I would agree: the very low cost monthly plans (or no plan at all) are best for the iPhone.

If you are earning more than $60,000 a year you likely will not need to worry too much about it
