hey guys my contract is done and i was looking for new phone with telus needed advice on iphone is better to get iphone 3gs over iphone 4 because of problems having it and good deal to sign a contract for 3 yrs.

If you are going to put a case on it, then go for the iPhone 4. Aside from the antenna issue, it is a better phone. The case and/or bumper really does fix the issue.
Personally, I haven't ever owned a phone that I didn't put a case on.
As for the 3yr contract, I don't think any phone is worth that. I might suggest buying it unlocked from the Apple store when it launches.

iPhone 4 - even with all the issues it's better (from the vids i've seen)

Cause say next year the iPhone 5 comes out and you want to upgrade and your on a 3 year contract. Sorry no iPhone 5 for you. ROGERS might not do the HUP thing they did this year again. Although they might but they might not :p
Plus, Bell and Telus never do HUP's so you wanting a phone you want but can't have all because you're locked to a contract is not worth it.
