That website isn't completely accurate. There are multiple versions of many of those phones, and only one of the versions will work.

For Example, you need to get a Bold from either Mobilicity, Wind, or T-Mobile USA for it to work on Mobilicity. The Rogers/Telus/Bell/AT&T or European Versions WILL NOT WORK.

Your safest bet is to just buy a phone from either Mobilicity themselves, or unlock a T-Mobile USA Phone

Stupid question (since Telus phones won't work on Mobilicity) but I guess that means the Samsung Galaxy S Facinate will not work either? Do any of the new Samsung Galaxy phones work on Mobilicity?

The samsung vibrant from tmobile will work. There is an older version of it (with a hardware button) that will work too.

I picked up a flyer from a store on Gerrard East that lists a new Android "Motorola Spice" phone.
Their news release and pitch:
"Mobilicity Announces Motorola Spice(TM): Canada's Only Device Powered by Android for Under $200 Without a Contract"

http://files.shareholder.com/downloads/ABEA-2FO3VV/1085550851x0x419818/21398601-883f-4127-9dc0-e132e836db70/MOT_News_2010_11_16_Press_Releases.pdf

It seems to run 2.1, according to the Motorola site, and no Motoblur, but it still looks nifty.

Any thoughts?

Well the Spice is MIA. Called their main line yesterday nothing showing up. Tried two stores, "Oh that's not coming anymore". First the guy denied it was ever coming, until I showed the familiar purple brochure.
I give up.
If I end up getting a G2 somewhere, I may try WIND first. Not getting a good feeling about Maybelicity.

Hey Demo.
How long does it take to recover service after you lose it?
I'm in Toronto and was having such a problem with this that I needed to restart the device. I've upgraded the modem software to UVJL1 but am still having some issues.
Any ***istance would be appreciated.

P.S. Love the Vibrant

You can't trust this list as mobilicity seems to be spending most of it's invested 250 million or so dollars on getting manufacturers to make phones specifically for them. i.e. the discontinued Nexus One & Motorola Spice.

Uhm, what exactly do you mean by this?
do you mean you didn't pay? in which case they'll keep your number for 60 days then trash it.
