Im currently paying $130 for my rogers plan which includes unlimited incoming, 700 anytime, free after 6pm, 6GB of data plus visual voicemail

What can I tell Rogers to lower my plan??? tell them Ive found the same plan way cheaper somewhere else??? do they match other companies??

I think $130 is way to much to be paying for a monthly cell plan!

Please help me!

Welcome to the forums beeks19. There will be a minimum amount of money you have to pay (per month) if you received a free iPhone on a 2 or 3 year plan.

Call Rogers and tell them what you have told us. I doubt though that they will be willing to cut the price of your plan. Likely they will let you downgrade, to a plan with less features and minutes, at a lower monthly price.

Do you really use/need all that data?

You are getting a lot of your money there, so if you actually need all those minutes and all that data, stick with what you have. But if you can lose some minutes (maybe in favour of My5 or Unlimited Rogers-to-Rogers Calling) then you can definitely get your plan down (probably under $100).

Also keep in mind that the iPhone isn't a cheap machine to keep running, so maybe consider a Blackberry or a "feature" phone instead, if you find the iPhone is too rich for your blood.

Let us know what you end up doing!

And welcome to the forums!!

Is that $30 6GB plan coming back with the new iPhone coming out?

What are you really using? $130 is pretty steep. I'm at 90.58 + Tax for the $80 iPhone plan and $20 value pack. I get 400 day minutes, early evenings at 6pm, my5 Canada and 2gb of data, call display, visual voice mail and unlimited text, mms etc. I find it fits me great with the my5. I use around 300 minutes day, 900 evening and 1200 my5. I could cheap it up a bit by doing away with the unlimited text as I never go over my 100 included in my plan.

Check to see your actual usage, it helped me.

but yes, post your actual usage, it will help us recommend a plan that fits you properly.

Just post 3 months worth of usage including daytime minutes, incoming calls, texts, long distance, and data usage. Then we can recommend you a plan and see if it works out to be less.

$80 - 15% BCB = $68 + $20 (value pack) + 2.58 GRRF = $90.58 + 13% = $102.35

700 anytime, free after 6pm, 6GB of data plus visual voicemail

So this is how I read this.

$45 for the plan
$7 for Early Calling
$20 for value pack
$30 for 6GB
$6.95 SAF
$0.75 911

=$109.70+tax(asusume ontario) = $123.96

Is that right?
