Purchased one unit today as a gift....registered with RIM; updated the OS.
This is an excellent Play Book (tablet).
Whenever RIM releases a new model, I'll purchase one for myself.
Yes, I know it's not an Apple iPad or a Google Android device, but the quality is of great quality and finish.

I agree that the unit itself is pretty great, but the software is killing it right now. So many limitations, so many buggy issues, and virtually no apps. If version 2 comes out this week and is as good as they are hyping it to be... AND if it has a decent android player that can run google marketplace, THEN I will be a happy camper.

Until then, its light years away from comparing to an android ICS experience (can't speak to iPad as I'm not an iOS fan)

Both of our BB Play Books (32GB and 64GB) are rock solid devices.
I can seriously recommend these BB devices for buyers.
I look fwd. to later a later BB OS and future updates to our devices (including some installed apps.

Many (including myself) have no need of millions, of mostly useless Android App's, And do instead prefer to have the rock solid reliability that a 'Blackberry brings....
