Bell does not have a GSM network (which is what fido is). the only phones you can use with thier SIM cards are HSPA compatible phones. any "old" rogers phone will not work with Bell's network.bell has a thing online where you can check if your phone is compatible.
Here (http://www.bell.ca/support/PrsCSrvWls_GettingStartedGuide.page#4) And click the "now" in the "How do I check to see if I can bring my phone to Bell?" question
just because the phone takes a sim card does not mean it will work with any sim

Bell allows you to use any compatible and unlocked device. Like Bacon mentioned, use the compatibility checker. The SE K750i ran on 2G EDGE. You're looking for 3G UMTS/HSPA.
