Samsung I9000 Galaxy S

After getting frustrated by Sony for not having multitouch, I am considering not getting X10 at all, instead I will wait for Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. It should have Super AMOLED, which will be visible under sun, 1Ghz processor, Android 2.1 and yeha MULTI Touch which Sony forgot.

For those who are thinking of writing "who needs, multi touch", pls dont write that. We are at Android 1.5 in X10, when Android 2.5 comes out by the end of this year I am pretty sure we will have lots of aplications with multi touch. And I dont want be left behind. (Google is also working on games now)

I have a fleeting feeling that bell will get the galaxy S. Bell and sammy are "hella tight" as the kids these days say. also bell NEEEEEDS a half decent phone. also i just read that the X10 DOES have multitouch and will get it in an update in the second half of the year. I have confirmed with Sony people that the X10 will get 2.1 and multitouch in September, but until then you would be stuck with OS 1.6 and that terrible Lifescape and Mediascape interface.
The X10 hardware is beautiful, the software isn't.

Nope but you can buy it from expansys.ca and then use it with rogers :)

I know Nexus I available now, but Galaxy S is way bettter than that.
I mean the has lots of issues;
1. like the screen doesn't have the resolution it was suppose to
2. multitouch problems
3. screen cracking problems
4. call dropping
5. can't play xvid or divx
6. cuz of AMOLED you can't see the screen under sun

Oh yeah and one last problem, even though its not a real prolem but still, the phone is really UGLY. Well Samsung S looks very much like iphone, still not as ugly as Nexus :p

But gsmarena says HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T
Which means it should work, right?? :confused:
