I use to be a hardcore Bell subscriber but lately i've been converting over to Rogers slowly, why you may ask?
The primary reason being reception, prior to the evolution of Rogers, Bell was great now i find in areas where Bell is spotty, Rogers has excelled, yes there are still those dead zones where no carrier will work but through personal experience and my regular haunts, Rogers seems to provide the best reception just like their Ads.
What's yours?
I am with Bell... live in a condo in Toronto and calls always drop.

I heard a lot of bad things about Rogers before but I've been with them for over a year and have no complaints.

Well here's how my family breaks it down:
My dad - customer of Rogers for nearly 18 years. No complaints.
My mom - customer of Rogers for 10 years. - No complaints.
Myself - customer of Rogers for 5-6 years. - My only complaint: untrained CSRs. Nothing bothers me more than when I tell them I need something done (within business rules of course), and the CSR doesn't want to cooperate (even though they can clearly see that I'm an employee).
Reception - 10 / 10. 3G all the time, everywhere, classy
Phones - 10 / 10.
Plans - 5 / 10 Garbage, but what can you do?
I have to admit: been with Bell since 1996... had an old Nokia clunker. For the amount of money I have put into Bell I could have bought a nice car...
No reason to switch as I am too lazy, and also I get treated well.
Just frustrating with the dropped calls as they don't charge by the second.

Dads been with rogers for 8 he loves the services but hates the ridiculous pricing
Me: Their reception is better than most, had few dropped calls but thats because of building i believe. Pricing has been ups and downs but after talks with retentions last time it turned out pretty well.

It all depends on where you are, what you're willing to pay for, and what kind of phone you want. There is no universal answer.

No complaints here. It helps having a phone with 3G on Rogers, though, since you can just roll back to EDGE where the 3G network is unavailable. The EDGE network never lets me down. Obviously, there are places where you cannot get a good signal with either of Rogers's networks; e.g: Inside a building with thick, brick/concrete walls. But you wouldn't expect to get a good signal from any carrier in those circumstances, so there's no point worrying about it.
