Samsung Vice - how to disable browser?

Can anyone tell me how to disable the mobile browser on the Samsung Vice? I only wanted the phone for voice and text, not data. I do not want a data plan so I am charged everytime I accidentally connect to the browser (which is often because of that stupid key above the talk button).

Remap the key? if possible

ask your carrier to block data on your account, so the browser won't connect.

The homepage that the browser launches should be a free page anyway, most carriers don't charge for their mobile home page.
