Galaxy Nexus notification light colours

Okay, so I think by now most of us who have this phone or are thinking of buying it already know that it has a multicolour notification light. Usually this light combines the colour into some kind of spectrum, but I have noticed a few times that I get a pure green light. Does this pure green light mean anything in particular?

red - missed call
orange - calendar reminders
light green - email
bright pink - sms
light pink - mms
dark green - gmail
purple - low battery

Sounds reasonable, but I don't think that's it. Email and sms both show the spectrum of colours. Not sure about the rest.

That is more like what I was seeing. I would get the single flash with a spectrum of colours for gmail, sms, and stock email app. Nothing for calendar reminders.

I have since installed Light flow LED to take full control of the notifications.

Also for facebook notices it comes up a deep blue color Ive noticed.
