Any one know when the Slacker Radio will be available for Canadians. I went on their site to download the application but it said only for U.S, wanted to give it a test run no chance. Any release date notifications please let me know. . Thank you

I think we're in for a long wait. Between laws and bylaws or whatever, gotta love Canada. Although I remember reading somewhere that some Canadians managed to get access through it. BGR?

BGR? i must check that out it would be sweet if i could get that up and running. Canada is always late in everything i swear, its ridiculous.

For now BlackBerry users who want to try out Slacker must live in the US (it seems you can bypass this by entering any valid US zip code though) and have a device running OS 4.3 and up. The Storm is currently not supported but will be sometime in the near future when an update is released.

ya i downloaded slacker the day it was announced to download, and then very dissapointed when i read that it was only available to the US. Oh well, lets see what happens

Yep, did the DL OTA on my berry, and it asked for a postal code when signing up, at first I gave a Canadian one and it would get stuck at the sign-in screen.

Read it was US only, so then I gave a US one, and was good to go. Can view all the stations and such, but won't let me buffer/listen to them. (Might be due to the fact that I don't have an SD card yet)

well i actually didnt put a postal code in got the radio to work but i cant find any canadian channels. its all the US channels that i seem to get..HELP

Ok what part of Does Not Work In Canada are you not understanding! Its an American program and there is no canadian content and IT WILL NOT WORK IN CANADA PERIOD!

You can only get to view the stations, it won't play at all lol whoever said they got it to stream in Canada could have been exaggerating a lot, there are people with low esteem who choose do that to be "the man" till you ask them to prove it and you never hear from or of them again:rolleyes:
