I just swung by Rogers to change up my plan this weekend and apparently their student deal for this year is Free Early Evenings; the Sales rep mentioned it'll be closing soon-- so if you guys have student ID (university) and don't have early evenings -- be sure to check it out.

The sales rep said -- you just call / show your ID to Rogers Video staff.

Isn't that pretty much Fido's $25 plan + some GRRF goodness? Can anyone share what does it come to after fees and taxes?

All the big 3 carriers are offering 6 months unlimited when you sign up,and 6pm evenings for free when you sign up right now (I know Bell is anyway, and last I checked Telus and Rogers were too), so that student plan isn't very special. :-S

And Virgin has a $15 plan that offers 50 minutes, plus a $10 unlimited text add on and 7pm evenings on all plans, and no GRRF, so save your $3 a go with them instead of Rogers.
