This is awesome. I can't wait. You know that it's just a matter of time before every smartphone has this app (RIM, Palm, WM, etc.).:)

WOW!!! Skype use on cell phones that are able to connect to wireless routers gives back what people truly need: control over their cell phone technology

Skype is already on the nokia n900

and skype lite is available for symbian operating systems.

Skype removed support for skype on windows mobile platforms because it was too complicated. you can still download a copy of for winmo, but there are still issues ***ociated with it.

I think the end of voice plans have already started. Many of the telcos worldwide seem to be hinting that when companies start expanding to LTE that the only "plans" will be giant data buckets. Soon everything will be a data service and you just buy a bucket that covers your phone, internet, or whatever service you have. This, however, will accelerate it's decline and I hope it does so fast.

This will be technology at its best and with this kind of technology around the corner its even better. There going to be alot more apps coming out that will be utilizing this feature and it be great get this rolling in Canada quick.
