HTC Touch Pro 2 for Rogers

I would like to buy an unlocked HTC Touch Pro 2 that I can use with Rogers in Canada. But in e-bay I see notes such as "Unlocked" but the item is ***ociated with network carrier such as Sprint or Telus etc.
Where would be the safest place to buy it ? Can I buy it in Canada unlocked?
What should I check to make sure that what I buy will work with Rogers?

i believe the Touch Pro 2 is a CDMA\EV-DO phone. It will not work with Roger's EDGE\HSPA network.

The device you're looking for is the AT&T Tilt2. That's the version that is compatible with Rogers 3G.
