Even though they have reserved the domains doesn't usually mean those devices will be coming out. I think RIM is thinking future in the sense if they did decide to come out with a device with that specific name they won't have to buy it off of any one.

Well, it looks like registering domain names with manufacturers model numbers
is a good idea :)
