Hello all
Tired of waiting for Telus to release a 4G Android QWERTY slider, but don't want to jump carriers. If I purchase a Galaxy S Glide from Rogers, can I unlock it and use it on the Telus network? I'm new to smartphones and not sure of how this all works.
Thanks for your help! :)

Yes the galaxy s glide will work on telus since it uses the HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 bands which telus supports. One thing though this is not the same phone as galaxy s2 just with addition of the keyboard, this phone runs on the 1ghz tegra 2 cpu not 1.2 ghz samsung own exynos processor. Not sure if there are unlock codes for it yet since its so new, I would look into that first before making the purchase.

Thanks very much for that info, I'm a little ways off from making the purchase but knowing the phone is compatible with Telus network is a big help. Cheers. :)
