Using my SGSIIx in Europe

Hey guys,

I am new to the board. I have been following Mobile Syrup for some time, but haven't got around to signing up for the forums until now...

My question is: To operate my SGS2x in Europe, what do I need to do?

Ideally, I would like to get the phone prepared so that I can use a pay-as-you go system for about 2-3 months while in Europe this summer.

All you need to do is to unlock it. It is a pentaband 3G and quad band 2G phone - will work on any GSM/HSPA carrier anywhere in the world.
