i would enjoy this device to come to bell, but that could take a while. I have never seen a new flagship device from rim (minus the storm) hit CDMA first. I want bell to hurry it up with that test GSM and get it up and running.

OPPS actually just read up that the device isn't the GEMINI that is actually another device that is non 3G device 8325 supposedly heading to T-Mobile ( speculations). Sorry for the misinformation. Addition the 8325 will be 1st device to have the 5.0 OS so that is the rumour.

Well folks...The BB codenamed 'Niagra' is suppose to be coming out in the first half of the year. That is the CDMA/HSPA Bold variant. The upgrade to the 8830. I know that it will be coming to TELUS.

As for the GSM...TELUS and Bell are launching their HSPA+ network in the first quarter of 2010. No big secret.

I think April is when we will see most of them.

The Pearl flip is due out in the coming weeks though.

The chart kind of helps and doesn't, didn't give me if which one will arrive 1st just tells me 1st half the two devices will be available but i highly doubt that though.

Niagra is my sweet device i can say, but sadly i am gsm guy. Omnia is a device i would love to have for sure though. But not so keen about the Windows mobile 6.1 i would prefer something more advanced than that. Sorry i know wrong place to talk about Samsung devices.

Serens, the Niagra is going to be a world phone. If you are okay with just using EDGE in Canada, you can always unlock it.

Its going to have EVDO Rev A and HSPA Quad band. Only two frequencies will work in Canada though.

I'd say switch to TELUS or Bell to get the Niagra (depending on what i ends up looking like - haha).

They are after all, switching to HSPA+ in 2010. That is going to be sweet.

actually thanks for the advice, i have been thinking about switching just because of the variety of devices. Upon seeing what you have stated it looks more like i might just do that since the switch from bell and telus original network will happen by 2010. Or can even get it as a second device that i am looking into.
