I would appreciate your input. I am days away to finish 2 year contract with virgin 15$ 50 minutes bare minimum plan. I am hoping to get the SGS2 phone (whatever resonable discounted price that it is today) keep the 15$ talk plan add 6g 30$ locked 3 years with caller ID. ($45/mth)
Am I asking for too much? Never got the retention dept so far, probably talk to reg customer service, someone text me to get me on new contract but ran away... when I asked for that.
If go to rogers I get 15% no nego since I have 3 home services with them but monthly will be more.
Your thoughts.
Thnx

The 6gb for $30 isn't offered any more from what I was told when I called in earlier this week. I had to speak to retentions and be pushy but polite at the same time. I wouldn't switch to Rogers. Rogers is worse in everyway. Their network is much more inferior than virgins. Rogers doesn't have as many good phones. Out of their 3 good phones that they just got now. 2 of them are LTE phones. Take it from me Rogers is much worse than virgin. I was with Rogers for 7 years. Been with virgin 2 months.

as far as I know virgin doesn't actually have a retention department. your plan isn't enough you're going to have to take the 50 dollar plane and go from there. or you can pay more of the phone now.
on a voice only plan you to pay 400 now. then sign a 3 year or do a super tab. voice plans now start at 20 dollars and get you no commitment data that scale with use. if you intend to use a lot data plans are cheaper.
