Greetings Canadians!
We are from DOVADO, a company over in Sweden that supplies routers for mobile broadband USB modems. We are following the progress of 3G/HSPA+ deployments in Canada and would like to check with you to see if you can answer the following question we have on our minds right now.....
Which APN (Access Point Name) of each 3G/HSPA+ operator provides users with a public IP address?
In some of the videos we have seen, it is most often then when using the "internet.com" APN from Rogers (for instance), you get a 10.x.x.x IP address, which is a private NAT address.
A public IP address will allow you to do more of course, such as hosting servers, webcams, VPN, etc. This is what we typically get here in Sweden when using our default APN's provided by the operators.
Anyone?
Many thanks!
