HELP!!!! I have been down for three days!
I had a Bell BB and 'upgraded' to the iPhone on Wednesday. I wanted to keep my number..... Well, what a cluster!
I have not been able to get my iphone activated at all! No voice or data... Not even a voice mail box.
Bell says that they have been experiencing this issue with lots of other customers and that I should be patient! No ETA given. Is there anyone else in this boat?
Thanks

I hope they are going to compensate you for the inconvience? That just sucks.

Definitely asked to be compensated for your time and lost productivity. In fact, more than compensated.

Well, good news! Something shook loose last night and it is now up and running! Total outage - 3 business days with no voice, data, call forwarding or voice mail service!
Now, the real question is do I want to stay with a company that treated me this way? They are without question in volition of the agreement..... What are people's experience with getting off a carrier in cases like this?
Thanks

I'd be careful....I'm pretty sure in the terms of service you signed it stipulates that they do not guarentee service....I wouldn't argue that...

see if they can give you something for the poor initial start, like more data

Just remember Rogers had similar issues at their initial sales.

I hope the new carriers, if and when they launch, will really fix some of these issues that the carriers have made customers so unhappy.
I'm ready to leave, but have a contract for another year :(
does it not feel like ever since Bell/TELUS got the iPhone the allure is gone? Or is it because all the other devices are getting better
