Phone will charge when plugged directly into wall.

Bought a car charger with all the fixin's last night - plugged into bother power outlets in car (I have 2 in new car) - won't charge

Does Samsung have this crazy thing where U can only use their cables or something?

It's possible the car chargers don't have a high enough mA output. I have a USB car charger and it only puts out 500 mA, where as my wall charger is 1000mA. What can happen depending on your phone, is that it may think that it's plugged into a computer USB port rather than a charger, because of the low output. When this happens, it charges much more slowly, and possibly not at all depending on the phone.
