Well, I may have to thank you guys for talking me into waiting a couple of days. So far this is the only plausible phone that is apparently coming that I'm interested in, provided 1 or two year contracts are available and reasonably priced.

The LG Versa is what you have been waiting for? It is a CDMA device????
On top of that, the phone is a piece of junk. It's a thin version of the LG Dare.

Am I reading this correctly. It cost less to buy outright than to buy on a 2yr or 1yr contract. That doesn't make much sense does it?

It makes as much sense as 2cents holding out for that phone??!! It's not even HSPA+.
I haven't heard any word on the LG Versa. Thank god!

It makes perfect sense since my aim was to have a nicer phone that texts decent. The current selection of phones, as many will agree, are lame. I've stated multiple times I don't really need a data phone.
Why would you be thanking god for even hearing about the LG versa? The reviews seem fairly decent.
I'd wait until next week 2cents. There might be some promos with the new HSPA phones launching
