Gingerbread coming to LG phones finally

Looks like LG 2x, Optimus 3D and Optimus Black will finally be getting the 2.3 update, starting with the LG 2x on Nov. 1, than Optimus 3D a week later than Optimus Black a week after that.

Now is this including Canadian phones as well? LG has some nice hardware, if only they would get there updates in a more timely manner they would be great. The new LG Eye Bell is getting looks like a fantastic phone but i wouldnt buy it because of LG's poor record of updating there phones.

You are right about LG bad track record when it comes to updates , like they said there wont be ice cream update for the 2x dualcore phone , which specwise would have no problem runing ice cream , and after public outrage on their Twitter and facebook they pulled that and released a statement for ppl to stay tuned to their Twitter for further updates. Like seriously the phone is less than a year old and to not be supported is a joke
