heys guys found on this other site i thought i would share with u guys Had a rep confirm today the HSPA launch date is Nov. 5,
Telus is hosting a conference on Nov. 4th in Toronto for all dealerships, Managers and Principals were invited.
As an aside,
3 new Handsets coming for Nov + 1 new Blackberry(Bold 2? )
Telus signed an exclusivity contract with Nokia to carry their HSPA Smart/Dumb phones.

Thats Awesome.....I hope its true. Only another 2 weeks, and then a new phone for me will be coming:D (if not the htc hero, then more than likely ill go with an iPhone or blackberry 9700;))

I just had to point out that the iPhone/Blackberry (Bold/9700) could NOT be further away in terms of their intended market. When the iPhone first came out I got it with Rogers.. and due to a few reasons returned it to Apple. Went ahead and got a Blackberry Bold. That being said, I have't looked back. You were mentioning you will either go with an iPhone/Blackberry and I just thought I'd point out I would not even remotely consider getting a BB (in your situation) unless they release the 5.o OS meanwhile. iPhone is very media inclined/user friendly, games etc. Blackberry is business.. for the most part.
